Jennie's Beans and Buns Coffee Lounge started with a vision and hope.  

 

After returning home from her journey of 30 years, Lenne saw there was no place to meet friends and hang out.  After looking at several buildings in Enfield she found this old warehouse that was once Randolph Hardware Store.  Once she walked through the doors the vision came to her and the coffee shop was born.

 

While in Charlotte, NC settling their niece in her first year of law school, Lenne and Kenny started throwing some names around...and behold....Jennie's Beans and Buns was created.  BTW the neice, Eboni Townsend graduated and passed the bar.

 

Delores "Jennie" Ward is our mother.  She dedicated almost 30 years to the Enfield Police Department and still known as the honary mayor of Enfield.  She retired from law enforcement and currently managing Jennie's Beans and Buns.

 

Beans "Coffee Beans" and Buns....well you can figure that out.

 

So, come by the coffee shop, meet your friends and just sit and talk a while.
